Announcing A New ACT1 Program: Weekly Online Support Group!
To make access to support a little easier for our members, ACT1 is introducing a new way to connect with fellow diabetics, both from NYC and all around the country. This idea came from our community, from members in rural areas who don’t live close to other diabetics, and the busy NYC-ers who can’t make it to the in-person groups, who expressed their needs for an online group.
We are proud to announce the launch of a new type of support group, ONLINE!
With a new year coming up, why not start your year off for you - prioritizing your own health and support needs? This group will meet weekly; every Monday fom 9-10PM.
Join us on Monday, January 3rd from 9-10pm for our first official online peer-facilitated support group meeting. For your own privacy we will require an RSVP email from you to Kristen@ACT1diabetes.org.
Once we receive the RSVP, we will send out a confirmation email with instructions on how to access the group chat room. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions please email Kristen@Act1diabetes.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
