Mental Health and Diabetes
People with diabetes often benefit from speaking to a mental health professional about some of the struggles and emotions related to type 1 diabetes. Conditions such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders are more prevalent among the diabetic population than the general population. However, it can be difficult to find a clinician who understands the connections between diabetes and your mental health.
