I try very hard not to let Diabetes run and/or ruin my life. I try to eat right (when I can), to count my carbs, take all my meds and go to all my doctors regularly.
Sometimes it gets the upper hand though and it’s difficult not to get angry and just plain down in the [...] [...]

This here is a special Father’s Day tribute to my own Dad. I think it’s fitting to honor him here .. not only because it is Father’s Day but because his life was taken by diabetes complications. I have decided that I do not want to be a diabetic today. I do not want to test my sugar, I do not want to watch what I eat. I do not want to make sure I have enough juice boxes and assorted sugary substances around me at all times.
