I just came back from a wonderful dinner and movie date with several of my lovely T1 sisters, their hubbies, boyfriends and Sean : )
We wasted about 2 hours of our lives watching the movie “Men who stare at goats.” But it was well worth wasting time with great company. We then proceeded to spend 3 (maybe 4) hours in T.G.I.Fridays eating and drinking till our tummies were stuffed. Good times!
I realize this post is a few minutes late, but I wanted to find out how everyone spent their WDD. Comment!

I spent my day yesterday with everyone that you did! The movie hurt my brain
I even heard stories from Katie’s grandmother about her visiting the UK while some English guy fixed her computer
Very fun World Diabetes Day!
I went to the NYC WDD party hosted by Allison, then volunteered the entire group to help clean up, then dragged a contingent of incredible act1′s and Kiran to find a soup kitchen for the leftover cake in the pouring rain, then took same group to meet my grandmother and help fix her computer. AND these people are still talking to me!!
By then Kiran and I were zonked and went home – sorry to miss you all at the movie but glad it was fun!
I had a fabulous WDD! As a matter of fact I am getting ready to post pics. Allison from lemonlemonade.wordpress.com hosted a wonderful Pizza/cake party. I met a lot of great diabetics there.
Then went to a movie with some fantastic people and sat in TGIF laughing and eating and have my first drink in 5 years.I cannot believe how long we sat there, lol.
